Job Summary

This DevOps Engineer role provides mission‑critical system support to our customer, closely working with the Development team and other stakeholders to maintain, develop, and support IC enterprise products—legacy and new—in an Agile SAFe environment. The role collaborates with software engineering to deploy and operate systems, automates and streamlines operations, builds and maintains tools for deployment, monitoring, and operations, and troubleshoots and resolves issues in dev, test, and production environments.

Primary Responsibilities

• Supports software deployments, cloud infrastructure baselines, and operational availability of production systems.
• Manages, builds, configures, administers, operates, and maintains all components that comprise the DevOps environment.
• Defines enterprise continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes and best practices.
• Codifies DevOps best practices across the enterprise.
• Develops and maintains scripts to automate tool deployment to an AWS cloud environment and other related tasks.
• Scripting and maintaining build environments.
• Works with project teams to integrate their products into the DevOps environment.

Basic Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience setting up one or more of the following tools: GitHub, Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, and Katalon Studio.
• Demonstrated experience troubleshooting issues with at least two of the following tools: GitHub, Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, and Katalon Studio.
• Demonstrated experience working within a software development team and supporting developers and developer activities.
• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of prior relevant work experience or a master's degree with 6+ years of prior relevant work experience (additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree).
• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required.

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS Associate Certification (Developer, Solution Architect, or SysOps Administrator).
• AWS Professional Certification (DevOps Engineer or Solutions Architect).
• Experience in container orchestration using Docker, Vagrant, Kubernetes, or AWS ECS/ECR.
• Experience with Java, Python, JavaScript, Ruby, PHP, or Unix shell scripting.
• Experience with Ansible or Puppet.
