DevAltus is a cloud-native consultancy delivering secure, scalable, and high-performance infrastructure solutions for enterprise clients. We’re hiring a Senior Azure DevOps Engineer to lead the design, automation, and optimization of mission-critical systems in Microsoft Azure.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implementAzure-based infrastructurefollowingAzure Well-Architected Frameworkprinciples
• Write, review, and maintainBicep or TerraformIaC modulesfor infrastructure provisioning
• Build and maintain scalableCI/CD pipelinesusingGitHub Actions or Azure DevOps Pipelines
• ManageAzure-native servicesincludingVMs, AKS, ACR, App Services, Storage Accounts, SQL Database, Cosmos DB, Azure AD, Front Door, Application Gateway, Azure Monitor/Log Analytics
• Designmulti-subscription and hub-and-spoke networking topologiesusingAzure Management Groups, Virtual WAN, Private Link, and RBAC
• Deploy, configure, and managePalo Alto firewalls in Azure, integrating withExpressRoute, hybrid connectivity, and secure inter-VNet communications
• Lead and support application and infrastructure migrations from on-premises into Azure services(including workloads running on platforms such asvSphere and Pure Storage)
• Debug and optimizeAzure RBAC policies, Managed Identity integrations, and inter-service networking (VNets, NSGs, UDRs, Peering)
• Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure withAzure Monitor, Application Insights, and Dynatrace
• Guidesecurity and compliance practices(Azure AD SSO/SAML, Key Vault encryption, Azure Backup/Recovery Vault, resource tagging, policy enforcement, etc.)
• Document architecture and processes; support teams across US time zones

Qualifications

• Work Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
• Location Requirement: Must be a resident of the continental United States.
• 6+ years of hands-onDevOps or Cloud Engineering experience
• Deep knowledge ofAzure core services, governance, and architecture patterns
• Strong experience withBicep or Terraform
• Proficiency in container tooling (Docker, AKS, or App Services)
• Solid understanding ofAzure AD, RBAC, networking (VNets, NSGs, Palo Alto firewalls, ExpressRoute), and monitoring best practices
• Strong scripting skills inPython, Bash, or PowerShell
• Understanding of.NET or Java application stacks
• Excellent communication skills and experience supporting distributed teams
• 6+ years of hands-onAzure experience, including production-grade infrastructure and core services
• 6+ years of experience in aDevOps or Cloud Engineering role, focusing on CI/CD, automation, and infrastructure as code

Nice to Haves

• Experience withvSphere and Pure Storagein enterprise environments
• Familiarity withhybrid networking scenarios(VPN, ExpressRoute Global Reach)
• Exposure toenterprise compliance frameworks(CIS, NIST) and experience collaborating withSOC/SIEM teams
• Knowledge of QRadaror similar SIEM platforms
• Experience withintegration of 3rd party APIsinto cloud platforms
• Proficiency withPower BI, including building dashboards fromAzure service data sources
• Exposure toFinOps practices(Azure Cost Management, budgets, and governance for cost optimization)
• Experience in Hybrid or Cloud Disaster Recovery

$150 - $300 a year

Compensation

• W2 Employment: $150-300k annually with full benefits, including:
