Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Columbia. Our client is a cloud platform for business spend management (BSM) that helps organizations manage their spending, procurement, invoicing, expenses, and supplier relationships. They provide a unified, cloud-based spend management platform that connects hundreds of organizations representing the Americas, EMEA, and APAC with millions of suppliers globally. The platform provides greater visibility into and control over how companies spend money. Small, medium, and large customers have used the platform to bring billions of dollars in cumulative spending under management. The company offers a comprehensive platform that helps organizations manage their spending, procurement, invoicing, expenses, and supplier relationships. Founded in 2006 and headquartered in San Mateo, California, they aim to streamline and optimize business processes, driving efficiency and cost savings.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent with 4+ years of professional experience.
• Strong understanding of managing either Windows or Linux operating systems in cloud environments.
• Solid knowledge of Terraform or adjacent tools such as Terragrunt and Pulumi.
• Understanding of Git workflows and managing infrastructure release processes via code.
• Experience with at least one of the following programming languages: Ruby, Python, Go, Rust.
• Experience writing CI/CD workflows (GitHub Action, Jenkins, or equivalent).
• Excellent communication skills in English.

Nice to have:

• Experience with infrastructure test frameworks such as Terratest, Serverspec, and InSpec.
• Experience integrating access with Okta, SailPoint, and Active Directory.
• Experience with AWS Step Functions.

Responsibilities:

• Build automation to create and manage AWS Account/Azure Subscription.
• Deploy and manage a cloud resource management platform for AWS & Azure.
• Onboard teams to the cloud platform and grant access to identity, secrets, and software package repositories.
• Build solutions to enforce architecture and security standards across all the cloud accounts.
• Develop platform abstraction for software deployment to Windows/Linux VMs and containers.
• Create a library of reusable actions for other DevOps teams to integrate into their CD workflows.
• Migrate existing users and CD pipelines from legacy internal tools to the new cloud platform.
