Mercedes-Benz Research & Development North America (MBRDNA) seeks an experienced engineer to own testing, validation, and verification of vehicle telematics systems, especially the TCU and connectivity services for the US market. You will lead technical investigations, mentor juniors, and drive test automation improvements.
The role requires 5–7 years in automotive/embedded testing, strong Telematics knowledge, and ability to work across global teams in a dynamic environment.

The US Vehicle Integration organization at Mercedes-Benz plays a critical role in delivering software-defined vehicles that meet U.S. customer expectations and are commensurate with the Mercedes-Benz brand. Within this organization, the Infotainment Development Testing team is on forefront and are directly working with global developers to validate the newest software releases and prototype products.
Beyond traditional testing, our team serves as the voice of the North American customer throughout the vehicle development process. This means we are working closely with global engineering teams, translate customer needs into technical development specifications, and validate that the final product meets and exceeds our requirements and quality standards.
We are seeking engineers who take ownership, think critically, and are passionate about delivering outstanding customer experiences. Successful candidates can independently manage and deliver complex projects, make data-driven decisions, and collaborate effectively across global teams. They are comfortable navigating ambiguity, driving technical investigations, and turning complex findings into actionable improvements.

This position may involve access to export-controlled technology, hardware, or software under the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), 15 C.F.R. Parts 730-774 and possibly technical data, defense articles and defense services subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), 22 C.F.R. Parts 120-130. As such, Mercedes-Benz Research & Development North America may be required to obtain an export license or authorization in accordance with United States law.
