Job Title: Senior IT Customer Relationship Management Cloud Developer
As a Sr IT Customer Relationship Management Cloud Developer, you will be part of the growing Salesforce and CRM/CPQ practice within Penumbra, serving as a Subject Matter Expert to Penumbra's Marketing, Sales, Pricing, and Sales Operations organizations. You will support various initiatives around Sales, Services, Marketing, CPQ, and CRM, along with peripheral applications such as SAP S/4, Merlin, ShowPad, DropBox, Quickbase, cVent, and Veeva.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage and support relationships with Global Sales, Services, and Marketing using proactive account management strategies, developing strong business relationships, and supporting systems that enhance customer relationships.
- Act as Lead CRM Cloud Developer for all CRM and CPQ requirements.
- Conduct business and functional analysis, oversee project delivery, define success criteria, and perform risk analysis.
- Design, develop, and maintain custom data input screens, reports, dashboards, validation rules, and workflows.
- Lead technical design and architecture sessions related to Customer Data Management, Accounts, Contacts, Leads, Opportunities, Quotes, Pricing, Orders, Cases, Contracts, and Billing.
- Manage data migration and cleansing from existing applications into new CRM systems.
- Apply design thinking, CRM design, and implementation principles within Agile methodologies.
- Provide technical support to analyze business requirements and assess Salesforce Platform capabilities.
- Architect and implement solutions, develop functional architecture, and support organizational goals.
- Design reliable, end-to-end technical architectures and build solutions and POCs based on customer and project needs.
- Create detailed system design documents and develop integrated data access components across data sources.
- Maintain system metrics to monitor usage and data integrity trends.
- Identify and resolve problems with technical and communication plans.
- Participate in cross-functional teams addressing CRM, Marketing, and Sales/Service operations issues.
- Develop a roadmap for CPQ/CRM and improve efficiencies in go-to-market functions.
- Create training materials and conduct user training on CRM functionalities.
- Collaborate with Data Management Team to support Customer Master Data and platform touchpoints.
- Work with project managers and Scrum Masters to delegate tasks effectively.
- Deliver high-quality solutions for CRM challenges in Sales and Marketing.
- Perform hands-on Salesforce administration, configuration, design, development, and triage with business teams.
- Adhere to Quality Management System (QMS) and relevant regulations and standards.
- Ensure team compliance with QMS, regulations, standards, and procedures.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Position Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, CS, MIS, or related field with 15+ years of experience, or equivalent.
- MS degree or certification preferred.
- 7+ years of experience with SaaS business applications, including hands-on experience with Marketing, CRM (Microsoft & Salesforce), MDM, CPQ, and Enterprise Architecture.
- Experience with two CRM implementations and Customer Master implementations.
- Proven ability to work with business and technology leaders to solve complex problems.
- Experience managing offshore teams.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in CRM systems (Microsoft and Salesforce preferred).
- DevOps experience is a plus.
- Scrum Agile certification is a plus.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and detail-oriented skills.
- Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Working Conditions
- Office environment with 0-10% travel. Potential exposure to blood-borne pathogens. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds. Must be able to stand, walk, sit, reach, and use a computer for extended periods. Vision requirements include reading, close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception.

- Location: Alameda, CA
- Starting Salary: $140,720 - $210,794 annually, with compensation varying based on performance, skills, location, and other factors.
