Are you a seasoned event manager, with experience creating developer activations at large conferences and sharing best practices for how organizations can effectively engage with developer communities at scale? Do you enjoy building in-person experiences that generate excitement with global developer audiences? Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an innovative developer event manager to deliver engaging developer experiences at relevant AWS events and conferences.
This role will sit within our AWS Developer Experience organization. Our goal is to win the hearts and minds of developers around the world by meeting them where they are and providing the right technical education, tools, and resources to enable developer success.
As Sr. Developer Audience Marketing Event Manager, you’ll own the strategy for how we engage with developers at large AWS conferences. You’ll align internal stakeholders to a common vision for supporting best-in-class developer event experiences, and you’ll identify ways to build presence at these events in a way which earns trust with technical communities. You will be responsible for building lasting relationships with internal stakeholders, and leverage those partnerships to deliver engagements across various events.

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. Minimum Qualifications
- 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience.
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs.
- Experience communicating results to senior leadership.
- Experience driving direction and alignment with large cross-functional teams and agency partners.
- Experience designing and executing joint marketing plans with strategic alliance partners with global footprint.
