American Exchange Group in New York seeks a Sr Designer – Home Textiles (Bedding, Bath, Pet) to help build a new premium licensed brand for the off-price market. This role collaborates with Production, Packaging, and Merchandising to translate concepts into market-ready products, reporting to the Design Director.

You’ll craft seasonal mood boards, develop artwork using Illustrator/Photoshop/InDesign, prepare files for sampling, and drive timely design revisions while staying ahead of textile

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Textile Design, Fashion Design, or related field.
• 5+ years of design experience in home or fashion/apparel.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Detail-driven with a collaborative mindset and eagerness to grow.

Responsibilities

• Develop accurate artwork, repeats, and specs using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
• Prepare design files for sampling and production.

This role is perfect for someone with a strong foundation in textile and product design who is eager to learn, collaborate, and contribute to a wide range of home categories—including bedding, bath, pet beds, and more. This role will focus on designing a new premium licensed brand for the off price market. You’ll report to the Design Director and work closely with Production, Packaging, and Merchandising to support the design and development of innovative home products.

Salary: The anticipated base salary is $100k - $110k annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, internal equity, and location.
