Job summary

Integra Mission Critical is seeking a Senior Design Project Manager to lead design and documentation for complex data center programs at multiple sites. You will coordinate architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical and civil disciplines, ensuring integrated, code-compliant, high-quality design packages from concept through construction documents.

You will drive QA/QC, BIM coordination, and cross-functional collaboration with Operations, IT Security and commissioning teams to align design

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
  • 7 years of project management experience on large scale Data Center, Mission Critical or heavy industrial projects.
  • Deep knowledge of data center mechanical and electrical infrastructure including power paths and cooling topologies.
  • Proven experience managing multi-disciplinary design teams and external Architectural and Engineering firms.
  • Proficiency with Procore and Bluebeam; familiarity with Revit/BIM environments.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Architectural and Engineering consultants and internal design teams through all design phases including conceptual, schematic design, development and construction documents.
  • Coordinate Architectural, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil and Engineering disciplines to ensure integrated and clash-free designs.
  • Ensure design documents comply with Data Center Design Standards, industry best practices, and applicable codes.
  • Manage design scope, consultant fees, budgets, deliverable schedules and drawing sets, specs and Basis of Design.
  • Implement QA/QC processes for technical documentation prior to review, permitting or construction release.
  • Oversee adherence to BIM standards and data integrity.
  • Partner with Operations, Equipment Solutions, Architecture, IT Security, Commissioning and Construction teams to validate requirements.
  • Support construction administration with technical reviews and timely RFIs/submittals.

The Opportunity

The Senior Design Project Manager is a strategic leader responsible for overseeing the design and documentation phases of highly complex mission critical data center projects This role requires advanced technical expertise in Architectural and Engineering disciplines and proven leadership managing large scale multi site programs The Senior Design Project Manager guides internal and external teams from concept through construction documentation ensuring designs meet performance cost schedule and quality standards for 247365 operations

What you will do
  • Lead Architectural and Engineering consultants and internal design teams through all design phases including conceptual schematic design development and construction documents for new builds and facility retrofits
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for coordinating Architectural Structural Mechanical Electrical Civil and Engineering disciplines to ensure fully integrated and clash free designs
  • Ensure design documents comply with company Data Center Design Standards industry best practices and applicable local and national codes and regulations
  • Manage design scope consultant fees budgets deliverable schedules and the quality of drawing sets technical specifications and Basis of Design documents
  • Implement Quality Assurance and Quality Control processes for technical documentation prior to internal review permitting or release for construction bid
  • Oversee adherence to BIM standards and protocols ensuring design models maintain strong coordination and data integrity
  • Partner with Operations Equipment Solutions Engineering Architecture Engineering IT Security Commissioning Construction and critical equipment teams to validate requirements and integrate technical data into the design package
  • Support construction administration by leading technical reviews and timely responses to RFIs and submittals ensuring compliance with design intent
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Architecture Electrical Engineering Mechanical Engineering Construction Management or a related technical field
  • 7 years of project management experience managing large scale complex Data Center Mission Critical or heavy industrial projects
  • Deep knowledge of data center mechanical and electrical infrastructure including critical power paths cooling topologies and structural load requirements
  • Proven experience managing multi disciplinary design teams and external Architectural and Engineering firms
  • Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools including Procore and Bluebeam with familiarity in RevitBIM environments
