Job summary

PISTOLA Denim is seeking a seasoned apparel designer to collaborate with the Design Director on seasonal RTW collections, translating trends into brand-relevant ideas and delivering technical sketches, CADs, tech packs, and line sheets.

You will manage samples, guide fit through production, and stay ahead of denim and streetwear trends while maintaining calendar milestones in a fast-paced studio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or related field.
• 5+ years of apparel design experience, preferably within woven categories.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator & Photoshop).
• Excellent technical drawing, sketching, and garment construction knowledge.
• Strong understanding of woven fabrications, washes, and finishing techniques.
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.
• Able to work both independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced, creative team environment.

What You'll Do:

• Collaborate with the Design Director in the conceptualization, design, and development of seasonal RTW collections.
• Translate trend research and market insights into fresh, brand-relevant design ideas.
• Create detailed technical sketches and CADs using Adobe Illustrator.
• Build and present seasonal inspiration boards, color palettes, and concept presentations.
• Develop and maintain tech packs, and design line sheets.
• Manage sample development process adhering to the calendar-track sample status, review submits, and ensure alignment with design intent.
• Partner closely with Product Development and Technical Design teams to ensure design integrity through fit and production.
• Participate in fittings, provide feedback, oversee revisions and updates.
• Stay informed on current and emerging trends in denim, youth culture, and streetwear to inform design direction.
• Support calendar management to ensure key milestones and deliverables are met.

Who You Are:

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in apparel design, preferably within woven (tops, dresses, bottoms, and outerwear) categories.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator & Photoshop)
