About The Opportunity

DMI, LLC is seeking a Sr. Data Warehouse Engineer to join us.

Duties And Responsibilities

Responsible for making high-level design and architecture decisions related to data warehouses. They play a crucial role in shaping the strategic direction of the data warehouse, ensuring it aligns with business goals. Key responsibilities include:

1. Data Modeling: Create and maintain data models, including conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
2. ETL Development: Design, develop, and optimize ETL processes that extract, transform, and load data into the warehouse.
3. Database Design: Design schemas, indexes, and optimize database structures based on business requirements.
4. Reporting and Analytics: Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytics solutions, ensuring data accuracy and availability.
5. Performance Tuning: Optimize query performance, monitor system health, and troubleshoot issues.
6. Security and Data Governance: Implement security measures and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations.
7. Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver solutions.

Qualifications

• Education and Experience: BA/BS and 7+ years of experience.
• Required Skills/Certifications: Active Secret clearance, Security+ certification.
• Clearance: Successful security screening and/or Secret Clearance.
• Citizenship: US Citizen.
• Physical Requirements: No physical requirements.
