Base pay range

$78,624.00/yr - $113,568.00/yr

Department: Data Science

As a Data Specialist for CGS, you will help our government client in processing data using LAW. The ideal candidate will regularly load large volumes of production data; run exports from the database for creating discovery party productions. Download files from our file sharing tool, JEFS, and perform quality control on load and export files to ensure accuracy.

Skills and attributes for success:

• Modify load files and perform quality control on loaded data quickly and accurately
• Assist with creating and updating document processing procedures as needed
• Run multiple load streams simultaneously
• Perform native file processing in LAW
• Export data from Relativity to create load files for other platforms as requested by Case Manager
• Perform data conversions, including various document types
• Handle special format data conversions and file manipulation requests
• Perform quality control on load files and Relativity data loads and exports
• Perform advanced requests like creating data exports for productions, quality control, overlays, privilege clawbacks, and sequestration
• Provide hands-on training to other Data Specialists as needed
• Perform basic Relativity searching and global updates to mark/tag records, confirm record counts prior to exports
• Discuss data inconsistencies clearly with Project Manager
• Assist on calls regarding data load file formats or media encryption with Case Manager and IT
