Job summary

Knowledge Management, Inc. seeks a Sr. Data Scientist SME to aggregate operations data and maintain a COP dashboard environment across SIPR and NIPR networks for Headquarters, U.S. Marine Corps. This onsite role supports inventory, cost, and capacity tracking and administers collaboration tools.

The candidate will consolidate information into a centralized COP portal, manage data upload areas, and provide analytics. Requires 15+ years USMC logistics experience and active DoD Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience with U.S. Marine Corps Logistics.
• Knowledge of Marine Corps prepositioning initiatives.
• Experience with HQMC CD&I, I&L, PEO-LS, MARCORSYSCOM, and TECOM.
• Experience using analytical tools including Power BI, Copilot, DoD AI tools (MSS and GenAI), and Excel macros.
• Active DoD Secret security clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain advanced operating knowledge of SharePoint and Microsoft Teams to maximize platform capabilities and improve data collaboration across networks.
• Maintain working knowledge and active access to the Maven Smart System (MSS) to support mission-specific data integration and situational awareness.
• Lead the consolidation of GPN information into a COP hosted on SIPR and NIPR SharePoint and Teams environment.
• Maintain a centralized COP portal (SIPR and NIPR) including SharePoint or Teams channels with command-specific data upload areas.
• Provide analytical support to track inventories, costs, and capacities by aggregating disparate data for Classes of Supply I, II/VII, IIP, IV, VII, and IX.
• Provide administrative support that includes reviewing, drafting, and responding to DoD ETMS2 on SIPRNet and NIPRNet, including AMHS Messages and related information such as Information, Position and Decision Papers, PowerPoint Briefs, or other required documents at unclassified and classified levels.

Knowledge Management, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Data Scientist SME to support operations data aggregation and maintain a SharePoint and Teams Common Operational Picture (COP) dashboard environment across SIPR and NIPR networks for Headquarters, U.S. Marine Corps (LPO-2). This onsite role centers on consolidating information into a centralized COP portal, administering collaboration tools, and providing analytics to support inventory, cost, and capacity tracking.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Minimum of 15 years of experience with U.S. Marine Corps Logistics.
• Current knowledge of Marine Corps prepositioning initiatives.
• Knowledge and experience working with ground systems stakeholders within HQMC CD&I, I&L, PEO-LS, MARCORSYSCOM, and TECOM.
• Experience using analytical tools including Power BI, Copilot, DoD AI tools (MSS and GenAI), and Excel macros.
• Working knowledge of Global Positioning Network (GPN), current prepositioning operations, War Reserve programs, and Classes of Supply tracking.
• Proficiency in SharePoint and the Microsoft Suite, including Word, Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint.
• Proficiency in data management, aggregation, site architecture, and administration of Microsoft Teams and SharePoint on SIPR/NIPR networks to develop, optimize, and manage centralized COP portals.
• Active DoD Secret security clearance required.

Desired qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, operations research, Data Analytics, or a similar field.
• Prior military logistician with tours of duty at Headquarters, U.S. Marine Corps, InstallationsLogistics (I&L) and/or Field SupplyMaintenance Analysis Office (FSMAO) teams.
