Job Description

Innova Solutions is immediately hiring a Sr Data Scientist for a full-time contract position lasting 8 months, based in South San Francisco, CA (Remote).

Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop in-house endpoint association and modeling/prediction pipelines using advanced machine learning techniques to identify biomarkers of clinical response and resistance, and extend the biomarker platform's analytical capabilities.
• Develop and maintain survival prediction pipelines utilizing multi-omics data to predict survival endpoints.
• Perform multi-omics integration analysis and pan-study analysis to identify biomarkers predictive of safety and efficacy endpoints.
• Serve as a subject matter expert and lead the application of open-source ML libraries (R and Python) to clinical trial and real-world data.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

• Doctorate with 1-2 years of experience, OR
• Master's with 3-5 years of experience, OR
• Bachelor's with 5-7 years of experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• PhD or MS in Bioinformatics, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience in bioinformatics, applied mathematics, or statistics analyzing large-scale biological datasets (e.g., genome sequencing, RNA-seq, proteomics).
• Knowledge of clinical bioinformatics and real-world biomarker data.
• Proficiency in Python and R, including DevOps tools (version control, ML Ops).

Pay Range & Benefits

Hourly pay: $84.00 - $88.00, based on experience and qualifications.
