For one of our clients, we are looking for a Sr. Data Scientist - Healthcare AI & Analytics, remotely from United States.

As a Senior Data Scientist in Healthcare AI and Analytics, you will play a crucial role in developing innovative solutions using advanced data science, machine learning, and natural language processing (NLP) techniques. Your work will focus on transforming complex healthcare data into actionable insights, helping to improve patient care and healthcare operations. You will lead projects utilizing Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) to address challenges in population health management, value-based care, and more. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to build, deploy, and improve AI models that enhance healthcare decision-making and outcomes.

Accountabilities

  • Lead the design and deployment of machine learning and AI models, including NLP techniques, to address key healthcare challenges.
  • Develop and maintain scalable data analytics pipelines on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Collaborate with product teams to identify healthcare issues and define data science solutions that align with business goals.
  • Conduct exploratory data analysis on both structured and unstructured healthcare data to generate insights.
  • Implement text classification, sentiment analysis, and named entity recognition models to support healthcare applications.
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance on GenAI and LLMs to other team members, ensuring best practices in model development.


Requirements
  • Master’s or Ph.D. in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • At least 5 years of experience in data science with a strong focus on healthcare analytics, machine learning, and NLP.
  • Proficiency in Python, Jupyter Notebooks, and libraries like Pandas, Numpy, and Scikit-learn.
  • Expertise in cloud technologies, with experience using AWS, Azure, and GCP for AI/ML model deployment.
  • Strong experience with Generative AI, LLMs, and cloud-based AI solutions.
  • Familiarity with healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR) and HIPAA regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills to present complex findings to non-technical stakeholders.
