Job summary

Aptive seeks a senior data scientist to lead ML programs for VHA AI Citizen Developers. You will apply supervised, unsupervised, and reinforcement learning to build predictive models for clinical and operational use cases in healthcare settings.

You will develop synthetic data models to protect privacy, architect secure data workflows in AWS GovCloud or Azure Government, and translate findings into strategic recommendations with cross‑functional teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience in data science or ML with healthcare domain expertise.
• Master's degree required; PhD preferred.
• Familiarity with federal data governance frameworks and VA preferred.
