Zohorecruit is seeking a Senior Data Scientist in Juncos, Puerto Rico. You will collaborate with Commercial Insights, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain to build advanced analytics that address core business challenges within PR Operations.

Strong communication and bilingual (Spanish/English) skills are essential. The role requires leadership, initiative, and the ability to manage time and projects to meet budgets.

Competenze

• Degree in Data Science, Business, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Business Analytics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Experience with programming, coding, system design and architecture, algorithms and data structures.
• Experience with statistical software and languages (R, Python, MATLAB, SAS) and database languages (SQL).
• Ability to articulate business questions and use programming to derive solutions.

We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist to collaborate with cross-functional business partners, including Commercial Insights, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Engineering, Data teams, external vendors, service owners, and IS partners. This role will develop advanced analytical models and actionable insights to address key business challenges across the PR Operations organization

Excellent communication skills: oral and written. Interacts effectively with variety of communication and working styles.

Fully bilingual in Spanish and English

Detailed technical proficiency with strong logical, problem solving, and conflict resolution

Demonstrated leadership skills, initiative and self-motivation.

Excellent time and project management skills to deliver projects on time and budget.

Requirements

• Degree in Data Science, Business, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Business Analytics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Required experience varies by education level: Doctorate; Master's + 2 years; Bachelor's + 4 years; Associate + 8 years; or High School/GED + 10 years of relevant experience.
• Work experience in programming, coding, system design and architecture, algorithms and data structures
• Experience with statistical software, coding languages (e.g. R, MATLAB, SAS, Python) and database languages (e.g. SQL)
• Experience articulating business questions and using programming techniques to establish business solutions
• Able to develop solutions to routine technical problems
• Demonstrated skills in selecting the right tools given a problem
