Qualifications

• Master's degree in a data science or related field.

The Senior Data Scientist will lead complex analytical initiatives that address ambiguous healthcare and Medicare business challenges and guide decisions with measurable impact. This resource will define analytical strategies, direct advanced statistical and machine learning approaches, and integrate complex data sources and model outputs to explain key business and member outcomes. The work will include advising stakeholders on intervention design, prioritization, and ROI while communicating findings in clear, executive-ready language. The resource will also establish analytical standards, strengthen reproducibility and data quality, and provide technical guidance across cross-functional workstreams.

Skills and Requirements

• Python, SQL, Cloud experience.
• Advanced degree e.g., Masters
• Data scientist with 3 to 8 years of hands-on data science experience, including in a business environment to deliver analytical insights for non-technical stakeholders
• Experienced in building predictive and ML models
• Excellent communication with technical and especially with non-technical business stakeholders, ability to summarize and distill insights, make recommendations to drive business actions, collaborate with cross-functional partners and carry a conversation with stakeholders to together problem solve on member solutions
• Experience in healthcare space
• Hands-on Gen AI / LLM work
• Production ML and MLOps experience
• Experience in Medicare programs, member experience and/or clinical domains.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Hands-on Gen AI / LLM work; production ML and MLOps experience.
