Description

DFS Data Governance Unit is looking for an experienced technical resource that would work with data governance platform/catalog solution and other DFS applications and systems that house data, in close collaboration with the DFS IT organization.

Duties

• Experience designing, developing, and maintaining data platform/data catalog and related (i.e., data integration) solutions.
• Drive the design and development of connectors into a data catalog platform and related technologies.
• Debug and resolve software defects, including those that improve the performance and reliability of application connectors.
• Provide technical support and guidance to internal data stakeholders, liaise with vendors/solution providers as necessary.
• Independently analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time, providing problem resolution end-to-end
• Write documentation to encourage adoption of above tools/technologies and support users in their use; support data stakeholders as needed.
• Develop a system of complex ETL operations using SQL Server, Python and/or similar technologies.
