NextEra Energy's Palms Insurance division seeks a Sr Data Engineering Manager to own Palms’ data processes, applications, and engineering team, guiding data warehouse, BI reporting, and data integration initiatives in a dynamic energy services environment.

You will lead day-to-day IT activities, collaborate with the lead team, and shape the future IT landscape for FPL Energy Services, ensuring reliable data solutions and scalable data platforms.

• 10+ years of experience in Information Technology or data engineering roles.

Position Specific Description

As the Sr Data Engineering Manager, you will own Palms’ Data Processes, Data applications and Data Engineering team. Our data team supports a portfolio of internal custom and 3rd party applications along with external platforms including; the Palms Data Warehouse, Power BI Dashboard Reporting, ad-hoc data reporting, Claims Management, and our Bordereaux (BDX) import systems. Palms is growing and investing in new capabilities and applications and this role will advise and support new applications as they are added to our portfolio.

Job Overview

Employees in this role are responsible for all Information Technology aspects of FPL Energy Services.
