Job summary

Candidates should have 7+ years in data engineering or software development, with strong Python/JavaScript skills, and experience with graph databases.

Qualifications

• US Citizen with active TS/SCI clearance or eligibility according to DISS (SCI within last 2 years)
• Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in STEM fields
• 7+ years applying data engineering or software development to analytic tools and data visualization
• 5+ years using programming languages (Python, JavaScript, Java, VBA, R) for data engineering or software development
• 1+ years leveraging graph databases and platforms for analytics
• Master’s Degree, preferably in STEM fields
• 5+ years in military or intelligence community; ISR exposure is desirable
• 5+ years with database development (MongoDB, PostgreSQL) or web development (JavaScript, React, Node.js)
• 5+ years leading data engineering or software development teams
• Experience with ML/AI and/or NLP

Your Role And Responsibilities

Our team is committed to providing senior National Security leaders with decision-worthy data and analysis to improve the effectiveness of Intelligence systems supporting DoW Warfighters. The team is building mission-critical intelligence workflows to produce decision advantage for the Office of the Under Secretary of War for Intelligence and Security, OUSW(I&S). We are seeking a TS//SCI cleared Data Engineer with a variety of technical skills, a curiosity to learn and innovate, and general understanding of the defense intelligence enterprise. Our data engineering team leverages open-source scripting and data visualization tools to wrangle, clean, analyze and display data in decision support tools for senior leaders within the Department of War.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

• US Citizen with active TS/SCI clearance or show immediate eligibility according to DISS security database (SCI within last 2 years)
• Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in STEM fields.
• 7+ years of experience applying data engineer or software development skills to develop analytic tools, deliver mission support services and create data visualization capabilities.
• 5+ years of experience using programming languages (e.g. Python, JavaScript, Java, Visual Basic for Applications, R) to deliver data engineering and/or software development services.
• 1+ years of experience leveraging graph databases and platforms to deliver analytics.

• Master’s Degree, preferably in STEM fields.
• 5+ years of general experience in the military or intelligence community; exposure to ISR capabilities is highly desired
• 5+ year of experience with database development (e.g. MongoDB, PostgreSQL) or Web Development (e.g. JavaScript, React, Node.js)
• 5+ years of experience in leading data engineering or software development teams
• Experience and/or proficiency in Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and/or Natural Language Processing
