Job summary

BridgeView is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize data solutions in an Azure Databricks environment. You will focus on scalable pipelines, data quality, and analytics enablement across the organization.

The role requires 4+ years of Data Engineer experience, strong Python/PySpark/SQL skills, and familiarity with Azure, Git, and DevOps practices. Travel to NY may be required as part of the hybrid arrangement.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a Data Engineer.
• Strong Python, PySpark, and SQL (SQL Server) skills.
• Experience with Azure (AWS or GCP considered).
• Git/version control and DevOps exposure.
• Azure or Databricks certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain data pipelines using Databricks, Spark (PySpark), and Delta Lake.
• Build and optimize Azure Data Lake and lakehouse solutions.
• Implement data quality, governance, and performance tuning best practices.
• Partner with analysts to deliver curated, analytics-ready datasets.
• Automate ingestion and deployment using Azure DevOps and CI/CD.
• Participate in agile development and technical design discussions.
