Position Overview:

Gravity is looking for a talented Data Engineer responsible for developing and supporting data management and analytics platforms, including data infrastructure, to support the evolution of travel products. The Data Engineer will focus on designing and developing data ingestion, processing, and storage pipelines, as well as transforming raw data into business insights to enable our client to become a digital disruptor.

• Experience working with large-scale data, including Terabytes of data
• Experience with real-time data processing
• Strong/expert-level Python skills
• Dataflow:
  • Understanding data structures
  • Understanding data flow
  • First-in, first-out processing
• NoSQL databases
• T-SQL (Microsoft SQL and Oracle are not preferred)
• Experience with Redshift
• Experience with PostgreSQL
• Architecting design and maintenance/support responsibilities
• Big Data experience, e.g., Apache Beam
• ML experience is a plus
• Strong experience with Google BigQuery
