Job description

Job Description

This is a 12-hour Night Shift position following a weekly rotating 2-day/5-day schedule.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Conducting daily site walkthroughs to ensure equipment is in good condition.
  2. Responding to Data Center Facilities issues and supporting preventive maintenance activities such as equipment testing, cleaning, and inspection.
  3. Monitoring environmental conditions like temperature, humidity, and power consumption, and responding actively to any anomalies.
  4. Maintaining up-to-date process, policy, and data retention documentation.
  5. Creating and updating facility architecture diagrams, control diagrams, and DFDs.
  6. Responding promptly to alarms, investigating issues, and escalating as necessary.
  7. Collaborating with the Operations team on disaster recovery plans and incident management.
  8. Managing inventory levels and coordinating with vendors and contractors for installations, upgrades, and repairs.
  9. Adhering to safety protocols, promoting a safety culture, and reporting concerns.
  10. Supporting business continuity and emergency response efforts.

This is an on-site role requiring daily presence at the Visa office location, with a need for regular commuting.

Qualifications
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Relevant industry experience in mechanical, electrical, or controls systems is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn new software quickly.
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Self-motivated with a professional attitude and ability to work under pressure.
Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies based on departmental needs.

Travel Requirements: 5-10% of the time.

Physical/Mental Requirements: Office setting; sitting, standing, communicating, and operating standard office equipment.
