Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst with 4+ years of professional analytics experience and a Master’s degree in Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, or a related quantitative field. The role focuses on driving improved business performance through advanced statistical and machine learning analytics, predictive modeling, strategic data visualization, and serving as a technical mentor to elevate team performance.
Key Responsibilities
Advanced Data Analytics
- Consult with business leaders to improve performance using advanced statistical analysis, machine learning techniques, and operational research.
- Develop, enhance, and deploy prescriptive and predictive models to support stakeholders.
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools such as Microsoft Copilot and Databricks AI to accelerate model creation and insight delivery.
- Design and execute rigorous statistical tests (A/B testing, hypothesis testing, regression analysis) to validate findings.
- Research, integrate, and build new data sources and analytics pipelines to support strategic analyses.
Communication & Influence
- Create compelling presentations, reports, and narrative documents that translate analytical results into clear, actionable business stories for diverse audiences.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional product teams to deliver and communicate advanced analysis outputs.
- Advocate for data‑driven decision‑making across the organization, promoting best practices in model consumption and analytical rigor.
Team Mentoring & Development
- Provide guidance and technical mentorship to junior and mid‑level analysts, including code reviews and sharing best practices.
- Lead internal knowledge‑sharing sessions and document reusable frameworks to strengthen the analytical culture.
Required Qualifications
- At least 4 years of professional experience in advanced data analysis, machine learning, or a related analytics role.
- Master’s degree in Data Science, Analytics, Machine Learning, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
- Expert proficiency in Python for data analysis and modeling.
- Strong experience with Databricks or a similar distributed computing/cloud platform.
- High proficiency in reporting tools such as Power BI.
- Proficiency in SQL and data manipulation techniques.
- Strong business acumen and ability to translate technical findings into clear business implications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting complex data to executive leadership.
- Demonstrated mentoring skills, including code reviews and team skill development.
- Experience with AI‑assisted development tools (Microsoft Copilot, Databricks AI, or similar) and effective prompt crafting.
