Horizontal Talent is seeking a Sr Data Analyst to support healthcare-focused analytics around chart abstraction. You will work across program management, data analysis, and production support to improve workflows and resolve data issues that affect prospective chart collection efforts.

Responsibilities include writing SQL queries, analyzing data trends, triaging production incidents, and collaborating with developers and stakeholders to drive resolutions and test enhancements.

Qualifications

This Sr Data Analyst role offers the opportunity to work across program management, data analysis, and production support to help improve workflows and resolve data issues that directly support prospective chart collection efforts.

Responsibilities

• Analyze data across multiple applications and identify trends, gaps, and discrepancies
• Write SQL queries to support business needs, reporting, and issue investigation
• Monitor, triage, and manage incident tickets during production periods
• Partner with developers and stakeholders to research defects and help drive resolutions
• Review, reconcile, and troubleshoot data to support accurate outcomes
• Create, maintain, and execute test cases for enhancements and process changes
• Support program deliverables, status updates, and coordination across teams
• Communicate findings clearly and contribute to problem-solving efforts
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Skills

• 3 to 5 years of SQL query experience
• 5 years of data analyst experience
• Strong ability to analyze, validate, and reconcile data
• Experience working through production issues and incident tickets
• Ability to create and execute test cases
• Clear communication and collaboration skills
• Critical thinking and strong problem-solving ability
• Comfort working with technical and business partners to resolve issues

Preferred Skills

• Healthcare industry experience
• Experience supporting chart abstraction, document management, or related data workflows
