Reserv Claims Analysis, LLC is seeking a Senior Analyst to join our data team in a fully remote role. You will build and maintain dashboards, develop Python- and SQL-based reports, and partner with engineering and operations to model data and unlock insights across claims workflows.

You’ll translate complex datasets into clear analyses, present recommendations to senior leaders, and help shape data strategy as Reserv scales.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience as an individual contributor in data analytics, BI, or consulting.
• Strong proficiency in SQL with large, structured datasets (Postgres, BigQuery, Snowflake).
• Experience building dashboards/reports in Looker or similar tools (Tableau, Power BI, Mode).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to distill data into insights.
• Excellent communication skills to present findings to senior leaders.
• Ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

About the role

As a Senior Analyst in a well-funded Series C stage start-up, you will be defining our growth potential for years to come.You will be an integral part of Reserv's data team, working to develop and maintain our data model, curate the semantic layer that powers our analytics and intelligent tools, and generate the new features that unlock deeper insight into our claims. For this role, we are seeking data analysts with strong Python and SQL skills, a curiosity for how claims work and how our systems work them, the ability to communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders alike, and the ability to both run independently and collaborate with our engineering and operations orgs. Location Requirement

Candidates must reside in an eligible U.S. state throughout employment. We are unable to hire candidates residing in California, Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, or outside the United States.

What you'll do

• Build and maintain dashboards that provide actionable insights for executive and functional leaders
• Develop robust Python- and SQL-based reports to support a deeper understanding of the claim lifecycle and operational performance
• Collaborate closely with engineering and operations teams to understand source system structures and translate them into our standardized data model
• Conduct analyses to investigate performance issues, identify root causes, and make recommendations to leadership
• Serve as the primary technical liaison between the data team and key internal stakeholders, ensuring analytical solutions meet real business needs
• Communicate ideas and solutions through clear, concise writing and presentations
• Help influence the culture, values, and processes of a growing data team
• Enjoy and have fun being creative and thinking outside of the box. You will need to draw on analogous situations you’ve worked on before, but we are not traversing well-traveled roads. “Where we’re going, we don’t need roads!”

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience as an individual contributor in data analytics, business intelligence, or consulting
• Strong proficiency in SQL (e.g., Postgres, BigQuery, or Snowflake) and experience working with large, structured datasets
• Experience building reports or dashboards in Looker (preferred) or a similar BI tool (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Mode)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to distill complex data into clear, actionable insights
• Excellent communication skills — able to summarize findings and present recommendations to senior leaders
• Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
• Have a strong technical skillset but also the willingness and ability to take over tasks outside your core competency
