Job description

Under limited supervision, responsible for creating cyber-intelligence solutions to prevent internal or external attacks or attempts to infiltrate company email, data, e-commerce and web-based systems. Implements technologies deployed across application, network/perimeter, data, endpoint, identity & access, and mobility domains. Research attempted or successful efforts to compromise systems security and provides countermeasure recommendations. Provides information to management regarding the negative impact on the business caused by theft, destruction, alteration or denial of access to information and systems. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent * in computer science, information systems or related plus 4 years of experience in the job offered or 4 years of experience in IT information security. The employer will alternatively accept a Master’s degree in computer science, information systems, or related plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or 2 years of experience in IT information security, in lieu of a Bachelor's degree plus 4 years of experience. The position requires experience with: Cisco ACI Multi-Fabric; Routing Expertise (BGP, OSPF, EIRGP, etc.); Checkpoint Firewall Management; Azure Cloud Security/Firewall; Network Automation; Python Scripting. General knowledge of hardware, software, and network. Position allows for telecommuting from home within commuting distance of Collierville, TN. *Employer will accept one (1) year of directly related experience in lieu of one (1) year of education.
