Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Co in Cranberry Township, PA is seeking a Senior Customer Solutions Engineer to lead NSSS design, analysis, and aging management efforts. You will guide engineering teams to deliver value to utility customers.

You will report to the Senior Customer Solutions Manager, in a hybrid arrangement on site 1–2 days per week, and drive complex proposals, pricing strategies, and contract negotiations to grow backlog and margins.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field required.
• 5 years of relevant experience required.
• Demonstrated broad product knowledge of NSSS offerings, including Reactor Vessel and Reactor Vessel Internals components.

Responsibilities

• Lead proposal development in the NSSS and oversee complex negotiations with customers to obtain contracts which contribute profit margin and revenue growth.
• Assist Project Management and Contract Manager on contract changes.
• Analyze RFQ requirements and lead proposal development; from coordination of scope/cost estimates and development of pricing strategies through complex negotiations with customers to secure order entry and grow backlog.
• Assist the Customer Solutions Manager in financial forecasting (SOPAR) to provide an accurate assessment of both financial timing and results; work with ESS project execution team members to exceed revenue and margin goals.
• Build consultative relationships with customer, operations, maintenance and engineering decision-makers to enhance Westinghouse's position as premier value-added supplier.
• Present both complex technical and financial information both informally and in presentation format, to Westinghouse leadership. Understanding of the interaction of company functions that are touch points to opportunities and projects (e.g., Finance, Legal, Quality, and Supply Chain).
• Facilitate opportunity management and interface with Account Teams and Commercial Integration to maintain opportunity database (D365). Additional interface support activities include Growth Planning, Important Opportunity Review, Marketing Material, Capture Plan Development.
• Develop Customer Solutions Management skills within the organization to ensure Customer Solutions Manager out of office coverage and succession planning.

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $85,200.00 to $106,500.00 per year.
