Sr. Customer Service Specialist (Remote Inbound Call Center)

We are seeking a Sr. Customer Service Specialist to handle, research, and communicate complex and escalated claims inquiries from patients, clients, and providers. Ideal candidates will have at least three years of call center customer service experience, with knowledge of healthcare claims and appeals procedures. Remote work experience and familiarity with insurance and medical terminology are highly desirable.

Responsibilities include:
  • Managing complex claims inquiries, including legal and insurance complaints.
  • Providing resolutions and creating correspondence via email, letters, and calls.
  • Adhering to response time requirements and documenting interactions accurately.
  • Mentoring and coaching less experienced team members.
  • Supporting call center operations and participating in training.
Work Schedule & Compensation:
  • Monday to Friday, 40 hours/week, between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm CT, with flexible scheduling options post-training.
  • Pay rate of $19.18/hour, with potential quarterly bonuses after 90 days.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 3 years in healthcare or customer service, preferably with out-of-network claims.
  • Knowledge of healthcare claims, appeals, and insurance terminology.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, maintaining confidentiality.
