Responsible for assisting South State Bank, N.A. in achieving its objectives of operating a sound and profitable financial institution by independently evaluating the credit quality and credit processes of the bank. The primary goals of credit risk review are to accurately evaluate the effectiveness of lending practices and credit-related supervision, identify unnecessary credit risk in individual loans and lending portfolios, confirm the effectiveness of loan grading, and effectively communicate findings to management to foster positive change.
Professional, business office setting with emphasis on human relations and teamwork.
No unusual physical demands; primarily sedentary work with occasional lifting up to 25 pounds. Flexibility to work outside regular hours for meetings and training.
Occasional travel to various bank regions for training and meetings.
Additional duties as assigned. This is an at-will employment position. Salary range in Colorado: $107,924.19 - $172,398.01, based on skills, experience, and education. Applications encouraged beyond the posting deadline of 05-30-2025.
