Job summary

Stardom Employment Consultants in Fresno is seeking a Sr. Cost Accountant to join our finance team.

You will oversee cost accounting, analyze cost data, and support budgeting and forecasting to drive informed business decisions in a manufacturing environment. You will manage cost records, analyze variances and inventory valuations, prepare monthly and quarterly cost reports, and collaborate with operations and finance to improve cost controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of cost accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and cost accounting principles
• Proficiency with accounting software and advanced Excel skills
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
• CPA or CMA certification is a plus
