Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Sr. Coordinator, Individualized Care to support patient access to therapy through reimbursement and provider guidance.

This remote, full-time role requires 3–6 years in a related field and knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid processes with strong analytical and communication skills. You will verify benefits, initiate prior authorizations, coordinate with payers and pharmacies, and ensure timely coverage across the US.

Qualifications

  • 3–6 years in related field preferred.
  • Experience with major medical Fertility and Travel & Lodging BI experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and Commercial payer practices is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support patient access to therapy through reimbursement services in line with program rules and HIPAA.
  • Guide healthcare providers through steps in the patient journey to therapy.
  • Handle patient referral intake, verify benefits, initiate prior authorizations and step therapy reviews.
  • Proactively follow up with payers, specialty pharmacies and support organizations to enable timely coverage and delivery.

This position is responsible for guiding the healthcare providers through the various process steps in support of their patient’s journey to therapy.
