Job Summary

Prepares food to ensure it is nutritious and flavorful, adhering to federal, state, local, and company standards, guidelines, and regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. May oversee cooking activities of food service associates as assigned by Food Service Director.
2. Prepares various entrees and menu items following established recipes.
3. Operates and cleans equipment after each use; performs scheduled routine cleaning.
4. Stores, labels, and dates food items according to policy; maintains organized storage of dry goods and refrigerated/frozen products.
5. Follows HACCP guidelines to ensure food quality and safety.
6. Complies with health and sanitation regulations and procedures.
7. Assists Food Service Director in maintaining accurate daily production records and completes all required documentation.
8. Assists in cross-training employees.
9. Performs other duties as assigned.
