Established automation systems integrator seeks a Senior Controls Engineer.

Responsibilities:

1. Design, program, and troubleshoot PLC-based control systems (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar platforms).
2. Develop and integrate Human-Machine Interface (HMI) and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems.
3. Create and review electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control panel layouts.
4. Perform system testing, commissioning, and startup of control systems at client sites or in-house facilities.
5. Collaborate with mechanical engineers, project managers, and clients to define project requirements and specifications.
6. Optimize control systems for performance, safety, and energy efficiency.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, Automation, or a related field.
2. Experience in controls engineering, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
3. Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., ladder logic, structured text), HMI/SCADA development OR Fanuc systems.
4. Experience with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, Ethernet/IP, Profibus).
5. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
