Base pay range

$110,000.00/yr - $135,000.00/yr

We are partnered with a global leader in the packaging equipment industry based in the western suburbs of Chicago. (Relocation is offered.) They have partnered with us to find their next Senior Controls Engineer. In this position, you will play a crucial role in our client's Maintenance/Engineering Department, collaborating on projects that span nationwide customers. Your responsibilities will include providing innovative engineering solutions, enhancing equipment performance, reliability, and cost efficiency through both new installations and modifications. Additionally, you will be pivotal in troubleshooting issues and implementing preventive maintenance protocols, ensuring the seamless operation of all equipment.

Qualifications:

• Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent electronics technologies field
• 9+ years of experience in an industrial setting with a focus on controls engineering
• Extensive expertise (5+ years) in programming and troubleshooting PLCs, specifically with Allen Bradley (Rockwell Automation)
• Proficiency in Drive Setup, Programming, and Troubleshooting, specifically with Allen Bradley, ControlLogix, CompactLogix, and Studio 5000 programming
• Ability to travel domestically up to 30% of the time with occasional international travel
