Job summary

Blue Canyon Technologies in Lafayette, CO, is seeking a Sr. Contracts Administrator to lead complex government and commercial contracts from proposal through execution.

This role requires deep FAR/DFARS expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a hybrid work setting. You will collaborate with accounting, program management, and DoD/NASA customers to ensure compliant terms and favorable outcomes.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in the appropriate discipline.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or related field.
  • Expert knowledge of the FAR/DFARS and government and commercial contracts.
  • Extensive experience with fixed price, cost reimbursable, award fee and incentive fee contracts.
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
  • Excellent organization, analytical and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

  • Review in-depth requests for proposals to ensure price reasonableness and proper terms.
  • Review, redline, negotiate, and execute complex contracts, NDAs, and teaming agreements.
  • Maintain contract files throughout the lifecycle.
  • Write complex letters communicating business positions clearly.
  • Ensure compliance with policies, government specifications and cross-functional coordination.
  • Interpret FAR/DFARS and other applicable regulations.
  • Timely communication of contract information and issue resolution with stakeholders.
  • Interface with internal/external customers on contractual matters.
  • Represent Blue Canyon Technologies in contractual transactions with international and DoD/NASA customers.
  • Liaise with outside agencies, funding sources, and leadership; coordinate with accounting and program management.
  • May include personnel management responsibilities.

Title: Sr. Contracts Administrator

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Range: $90,000 - $130,000

(Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)

Hybrid position at our Lafayette, CO location (work locations are subject to change based on business need).

Job Responsibilities
  • Perform in-depth reviewofcustomer requests forproposals andrequirementsensuring price reasonableness and integration ofappropriate termsprior tosubmittingproposals to customers
  • Responsible for reviewing, redlining, negotiating, and executing complexcontracts, nondisclosure and teaming agreements, ensuring negotiated termsand conditionscomply withcompany policies
  • Maintain contract file throughout the contract lifecycle
  • Write complexletters that communicate a business position effectively
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, government specifications, and other requirements, communicating and coordinating with quality, supply chain, and other functional areas as needed
  • Interpret and ensure compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), and other applicable regulations.
  • Timely communication of contract information and issue resolution withappropriate parties
  • Interface with internal/external customers on contractual matters
  • Professionally represent Blue Canyon Technologies on contractual transactions and work closely with a variety of customers, including international, DoD, NASA, and federal agency customers
  • Liaison with outside agencies, other funding sources, as well as corporate attorneysand other personnel, and BCTleadership
  • Work closely with accounting, program management, and other professionals to resolve issues related to contract provisions
  • May include personnel management responsibilities

Required Qualifications/Education

Working Conditions

This job operates in a professional office environment, but in a manufacturing company. This role uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, scanners, filing cabinets and fax machines. BCT anticipates the application window closing approximately 40 days from the date the notice was posted.
