Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a technical leader to own end-to-end contract onboarding workflows, mentor peers, and influence the onboarding roadmap. You will partner across Sales, Legal, Finance, and Engineering to streamline operations using AI and automation at scale.
The role emphasizes deep analysis, proactive risk management, and delivering accurate, timely customer setups in a fast-paced environment. Seattle-based with competitive compensation.
AWS Billing Contract Onboarding is looking for a technical leader who thrives on solving complex operational problems and delivering exceptional customer experiences. In this role, you'll be the go-to expert on contract onboarding — owning end-to-end execution of complex workflows, influencing the team's roadmap, and driving process improvements that directly impact how quickly and accurately customers get up and running on AWS. You'll bring deep operations experience and a strong understanding of how AI and automation can transform operational workflows at scale. You'll lead through expertise, not hierarchy: mentoring peers, partnering across Sales, Legal, Finance, and Engineering, and setting the bar for operational excellence. If you love diving deep into details, untangling root causes, and leveraging AI to build smarter, more scalable solutions — this is your role.
Your day starts with reviewing your onboarding queue — prioritizing cases, resolving data discrepancies, and ensuring customers are set up accurately and on time. You'll partner with Sales, Legal, Finance, and Engineering to unblock complex contracts and drive process improvements. You'll analyze onboarding metrics, spot trends, and identify where AI or automation can eliminate manual work and reduce errors. Teammates come to you with questions — you're a mentor and sounding board who raises the bar for the whole team. Every day, you're thinking about how to make tomorrow's process better than today's.
The AWS Billing Contract Onboarding team ensures every customer's billing contract is set up accurately and on time — it's the critical first step in a customer's AWS journey. We're a collaborative, customer-obsessed group that partners closely with Sales, Legal, Finance, and Engineering to deliver seamless experiences at scale. We believe in operational excellence, continuous improvement, and using AI and automation to work smarter. You'll join a team that values deep expertise, open communication, and supporting each other's growth. We take our work seriously, but we also have fun doing it.
