Sr. Contract Administrator
Irvine, CA | $105,000 – $115,000 | Full-Time | Onsite
A well‑established global aerospace and defense manufacturer in Irvine. In this individual contributor role you will administer contracts of moderate‑to‑high scope and complexity across commercial and government programs, driving compliance, performance, and customer satisfaction from proposal through closeout.
What You’ll Do
- Administer assigned contracts — analyzing performance requirements, delivery schedules, pricing, terms, and conditions
- Develop and submit compliant proposal packages in response to RFPs of diverse scope and complexity
- Negotiate contract requirements, pricing, terms, and conditions in accordance with legal and company policies
- Investigate and resolve customer claims and complaints; coordinate with internal teams on technical and quality issues
- Monitor contract performance and compliance; identify and manage out‑of‑scope changes
- Manage order entry, schedule changes, portal management, and Demand Plan creation as part of S&OP
- Serve as primary customer point of contact on assigned contracts
- May oversee export compliance administration and training
- Mentor and guide less experienced contracts staff
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field
- 2–5 years of progressive contracts administration experience
- Thorough knowledge of contract administration principles, industry practices, and government contracting regulations
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
- Proficient in standard business applications and specialized customer/contract systems
Preferred
- Contract management certification (NCMA or IACCM), JD, or MBA
- Export control training (e.g., ECTI)
