Job summary

Central Business Solutions Inc. seeks a Staff SAP BTP Software Engineer with 8+ years of hands-on SAP experience to lead architecture and integration strategy for a global S/4 HANA transformation.

You will design patterns, govern APIs, IAM, and migrations, build CI/CD pipelines, and mentor the engineering team across a multinational program.

Qualifications

• 8+ years hands-on SAP experience in large-scale ECC to S/4 HANA transformations.
• Deep expertise in SAP BTP, SAP Integration Suite, API Management, and Cloud Connector.
• Experience with S/4 HANA Extensibility: CAP and RAP models.
• Knowledge of SAP Clean Core principles and released APIs.

Responsibilities

• Manage SAP BTP global accounts, subaccounts, governance and migrations.

Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff SAP BTP Software Engineer with more than 8 years of experience to act as a hands‑on technical leader and key contributor for the architecture and integration strategy of a global, large‑scale S/4 HANA transformation project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage SAP BTP Global Account and Subaccount setup, administration, and governance (including NEO to Cloud Foundry migration initiatives).
• Design and implement integration patterns and templates in SAP Integration Suite using various adapters (SFTP, HTTPS, OData, JMS, AMQP, Mail).
• Lead complex integration architectures connecting SAP S/4 HANA, SAP ECC, SAP SuccessFactors, and non‑SAP applications via REST APIs, Web Services, and Java connectors.
• Configure and manage IAM strategies using IAS/IPS (SSO/SAML across multiple solutions).
• Govern APIs and connectivity using SAP API Management and SAP Cloud Connector.
• Implement and manage Advanced Event Mesh for event‑driven architectures.
• Lead integration migration projects from legacy platforms (SAP PO, TIBCO, Informatica) to SAP BTP.
• Provision, configure, and govern HANA databases as per project requirements.
• Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines, utilizing GIT for version control and Cloud Transport Management for seamless deployments.
• Act as a key technical reference, guiding the engineering team, participating in product roadmap definitions, and ensuring technical integrity across the project lifecycle.

Key Technical Requirements:

• 8+ years of hands‑on SAP experience, with a strong background in large‑scale ECC to S/4 HANA transformations (Greenfield, Brownfield, Bluefield)..
• Extensive architectural and hands‑on development expertise in SAP BTP, SAP Integration Suite, API Management, and SAP Cloud Connector.
• Deep technical experience with the S/4 HANA Extensibility model:
• Side‑by‑side extensions in BTP using the CAP (Cloud Application Programming) model.
• In‑App extensions using the RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming) model.
• Strict adherence to SAP Clean Core principles, including leveraging released APIs and creating wrappers when released APIs are unavailable.
• Hands‑on technical development experience using SAP Business Application Studio (BAS), SAP Build, and SAP Work Zone.
• Knowledge of and experience in developing SAP Fiori applications.
• Proven leadership experience in a global environment, with strong communication, presentation, and strategic advisory skills.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), SAP Fieldglass, SAP Datasphere, SAP Signavio, and ABAP Cloud.
• Relevant SAP technical certifications.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related IT discipline.
