Job summary

Softchoice is seeking a Senior Microsoft Security Consultant to lead identity management and workplace security engagements for enterprise and public sector clients. You will guide service delivery, coordinate with architects, engineers, and project managers, and stay current with Microsoft Defender, Defender for Cloud, and Sentinel.

You will collaborate with internal teams, clients, and Microsoft representatives to implement, configure, and troubleshoot MS Teams and related security solutions.

Qualifications

• Requires Computer Science / IT degree or diploma or equivalent industry experience.
• 5+ years in a client-facing professional services role or 7+ years industry experience.
• Updated certifications: Microsoft Certified Security Operations Analyst Associate; Security Administrator Associate.

Responsibilities

• Lead service delivery and technical teams on identity management and workplace security projects.
• Design, implement, and manage MS Teams installations, configurations, and migrations per contract SLAs.
• Mentor Consultants, Engineers and Technicians on technical and soft skills.
• Advise on, implement, and manage complex security deployments for clients.

As a Senior Microsoft Security Consultant within the Professional Services organization, you will have the opportunity to consult with and advise our valued enterprise and public sector clients on identity management and workplace security engagements. This role is responsible for leading the service delivery functions and technical teams involved with the planning, setup, configuration, and administration of identity management and workplace endpoint security solutions.

What you'll do:

You will work closely with related teams on Microsoft Security and Identity Management implementation projects, which would include upgrades, installations, configurations, migrations, security policy design, administration, and user training. This will require a technical understanding of cloud security solutions including M365 Defender, Defender for cloud, and Sentinel.

• You will work closely with co-workers (internally), end-users (externally), and vendor representatives (Microsoft) on the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of MS Teams, in accordance with contract SLAs
• You will mentor and develop Consultants, Engineers and Technicians on the team, and provide guidance on their technical skills, as well as the soft skills required for their success
• You will function as a technical expert, with strong customer interaction skills, and the ability to advise on, implement, and manage complex solution and service deployments for clients
• You will have a hunger for learning, and take advantage of the opportunities to pursue relevant certifications and training for Microsoft Endpoint Security and Identity Management
• You will serve as a technical authority and subject matter expert for Softchoice, supporting other individuals and teams at trade shows, events, and speaking engagements that specifically require your technical expertise
• You will be a role model for our values of personal growth, customer passion, taking care of others & owning the end result

Compensation:

A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position in Texas & Chicago is $116,800 to $146,000 annually + 14% as target incentives. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position in Florida & Denver is $110,960 to $138,700 annually + 14% as target incentives. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including location, experience, skill set, education, and related certification.
