Job Summary

The Senior Consultant in the Consulting Services Organization is responsible for solutioning and delivery of client projects. A Senior Consultant is responsible for ensuring successful project delivery and provides sales support as needed. Senior Consultants demonstrate technical expertise, project leadership, and strive to build and maintain client relationships in accordance with our Client Engagement Values.

Job Summary

The Senior Consultant in the Consulting Services Organization is responsible for solutioning and delivery of client projects. A Senior Consultant is responsible for ensuring successful project delivery and provides sales support as needed. Senior Consultants demonstrate technical expertise, project leadership, and strive to build and maintain client relationships in accordance with our Client Engagement Values.

Applicants must have strong analytical skills and business vision to be able to add value to our clients by driving projects and delivering solid Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions. They should also have experience integrating external systems with Dynamics 365, planning and implementing solutions to address organizational requirements, and successfully maintaining the client relationship throughout the duration of the project lifecycle.

Skills

From a capability perspective, the ideal candidate will be able to work both independently and as part of a team of consultants to provide these services to clients and will have the following skills:

  • Provide quality delivery of consultancy, through presales, demonstrations, analysis, implementation, documentation and training
  • Expertise in Custom Workflow Activity, Plugin (C#), Power Automate, JavaScript, HTML, PowerApps Portals/Power Pages, Canvas Apps, Power Virtual Agents/Copilot Studio and Power Platform development
  • Interact with clients to understand complex business requirements
  • Create functional requirement and design for customizations
  • Accurately estimate level of effort for implementation tasks
  • Installation, setup and configuration of Dynamics 365, associated Apps such as Customer Insights, Field Service, Customer Service, Project Operations and Sales, and 3rd party tools such as mscrm-addons and ClickDimensions
  • Create technical documentation of client Dynamics 365 and Power Platform environments
  • Liaising between clients and developers – act as a point of contact and delegator of tasks
  • Advise on complex business cases and propose comprehensive solutions utilizing 3rd party applications and extending Dynamics 365 and the Power Platform with customizations
  • Experience with data migration/integration from external systems into Dynamics 365 utilizing tools such as SSIS, KingswaySoft, Scribe and Dataflows
  • Developing complex Power BI reports from multiple data sources
  • Excel in executing projects in agile implementation methodology
  • Conduct end user and administrator training
  • Excellent written and oral English communication and presentation skills

Essential Functions

  • Project Delivery:

oProactively manage and deliver solutions in collaboration with the project team. Ensures project deliverables and timeline are executed in accordance with the project’s Statement of Work while maintaining ivision’s high quality standards. Provides guidance to project team members to maximize performance and alignment with project goals. Identifies project risks and proactively communicates internally and externally to drive client satisfaction while solving client’s business challenges.

oExcels in building and maintaining strong client relationships, understanding the client’s needs and expectations, ensuring satisfaction with project outcomes, and proactively identifies opportunities for additional services or projects within ivision’s current client base. Facilitates clear and effective communication among internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment and understanding.

  • Administration:

oManage time to successfully execute assigned project tasks and to meet billable utilization targets while meeting project timelines and maintaining client satisfaction.

oTrack time and notes for assigned project tasks and overall project status.

  • Professional Development:

oDrive continuous improvement by maintaining relevant knowledge of the latest tools and emerging technologies.

oIdentify specific professional development opportunities and create/implement career development plans with Manager.

oAbility to adapt and learn new technologies, products, and processes, as needed.

oComplete training courses & obtain any associated certifications as required.

  • Mentorship:

oKnowledge share and train team members in areas where you are a subject matter expert (SME) to foster collaboration and development within the Consulting Services Organization.

  • Sales Support:

oProvides expert solutioning guidance and support to clients and internal team members through creation of presentations and pre-sales documentation. Provide subject matter expertise in the sales cycle to ensure that complex solutions meet client requirements and expectations.

  • Strong written and documentation skills, and ability to author technical deliverables (Visio, Word, etc.)
  • Formulate recommendations and solutions to complex client challenges with detailed attention to the clients’ requirements and expectations.

Education, Experience, Certification

  • Typically has five or more years related experience.
  • BS/BA (EE/CS) or equivalent in computer science or related technical field is preferred.
  • Applicable technical certifications preferred (vary by practice area).
  • Professional Services sales support experience is desired.
  • Knowledge of IT project lifecycle required. Familiarity with PMP and/or agile methodologies preferred. Knowledge of ITIL or other IT service management expertise desired.

Other Requirements

  • Physical Requirements: prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Work Environment: no adverse environmental conditions expected; regular office and/or home office environment.
  • Travel: up to 50% travel based on client project needs.
