Object Technology Solutions, Inc (OTSI) has an immediate opening for a Sr. Construction Manager.

Location: Irvine, CA

Job Responsibilities

The Construction Manager is responsible for the proper and timely deployment of telecommunications equipment, including:

• Performing feasibility walks at venues alongside the data collection team.
• Establishing a point of contact with the venue for access and scheduling.
• Identifying potential scheduling conflicts with the venue in advance.
• Verifying cable routing, GPS placement, DOT placement, ingress/egress to headend using iBwave software.
• Identifying potential roadblocks during construction and developing mitigation plans.
• Analyzing and developing the scope of work, bill of materials, and working with RF design, including throughput requirements and customer end goals, managing execution, and recommending revisions.
• Utilizing deployment knowledge to evaluate job sites, resolve access issues, and determine the step-by-step methodology for system build, including materials and equipment needed.
• Reporting material deficiencies and developing plans to address them.
• Developing and managing construction plans, coordinating crews and materials to ensure timely, correct, and budget-compliant construction.
• Monitoring job status, adjusting schedules, and managing budgets in collaboration with senior management.
• Attending market meetings and interfacing with customers and internal/external personnel regarding project status, delays, and execution.
• Overseeing construction to ensure it aligns with scope documents, safety standards, and quality expectations.
• Performing safety audits and assessing site feasibility based on conditions and safety standards.
• Providing guidance, training, and mentorship to teams, partnering with managers, and preparing performance reports.
• Collaborating with RF design teams to understand project requirements and assist in RF component placement.
• Performing additional tasks as assigned and supporting the Senior Construction Manager as needed.
