Our client, a leading Commercial Casualty Insurance Company, is seeking an experienced Sr. Complex Commercial Casualty | Home Office Consultant to handle high-exposure Commercial Casualty claims involving complex coverage and bodily injury exposures. This role involves oversight of internal Commercial General Liability Claims Examiner's files, litigation management, and collaboration with underwriting, legal, and reinsurers. Qualified candidates would have the ability to work remotely while reporting to one of our clients regional claims offices, as needed.

• Review Commercial Casualty claims to include complex coverage issues and serious injury/damage claims from field offices and ensure appropriate claim handling.
• Maintain logs of high-severity losses and oversee reserve/payment approvals beyond field authority.
• Provide support on pre-trial notices and draft or review complex coverage letters.
• Participate in bi-monthly Loss Review Committee meetings and home office quality reviews.
• Communicate with reinsurers on qualifying losses and ensure timely updates.
• Identify training needs and assist in claims training initiatives.
• Handle a limited caseload of complex or high-severity claims directly.

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of Commercial General Liability Claims handling experience.
• Strong knowledge of policy coverage interpretation and claims litigation strategy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and provide oversight on high-severity claims.
• Experience handling large losses, complex liability, or litigated claims strongly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; adjuster licenses as required by state.
• $135,000 to $155,000+ annual base salary plus 10-20% bonus
