About the Role:
As a Senior Commodity Manager specializing in Semiconductor Components, you will lead the technical and commercial sourcing strategies for optimal semiconductor solutions. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams from the earliest product development stages through engineering validation and beyond. You will have the opportunity to directly influence the technology and supply chain decisions behind our devices, ensuring the seamless delivery of innovative products to millions of customers worldwide.
Key job responsibilities
As a Commodity Manager, you will:
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science
- 5+ years of experience in technical and commercial sourcing within high-volume manufacturing operations
- 5+ years direct experience in supplier/supply chain management, with strong knowledge of the semiconductor industry, IC manufacturing and packaging processes and key suppliers.
- Demonstrated expertise in contract negotiations, cost analysis, and supplier performance management.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office tools.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Familiarity with world-class sourcing methodologies and tools.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and a proven track record of cost reductions and supplier development.
- Strong analytical skills for cost modeling and market trend analysis.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
