Job summary

Integrated DNA Technologies (IDT) in Boulder, CO, an on-site role within the NGS Business unit, seeks an experienced Product Manager. You will lead the product strategy, drive growth, and own lifecycle management for genomics offerings.

Candidates should hold a Bachelor's in biological sciences with 5+ years in biology/chemistry fields and 3+ years in NGS product management. Travel about 20% to domestic/international sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5 years experience in biological sciences (biology, chemistry, biochemistry).
• 3+ years of experience in Next Generation Sequencing product management or other relevant technical environment.
• Demonstrated assay commercialization in genomics, next-generation sequencing, or related industry including chemistry, software, and bioinformatics products.
• 2+ years of experience in high-touchpoint customer facing roles.
• Willingness and ability to travel approximately 20% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Develop an annual strategic plan to achieve product revenue and margin growth objectives.
• Serve as a commercial subject matter expert and product champion; analyze customer feedback, market trends, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage all aspects of product life cycle, including new product launches and obsolescence.
• Partner with Sales and Marketing to develop positioning strategies, campaigns, collateral, tools, and training.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance and Operations on supply issues and communications to commercial teams and customers.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Develop an annual strategic plan to achieve product revenue and margin growth objectives and drive actions that lead to sustainable growth and the completion of strategic objectives
• Serve as a commercial subject matter expert and product champion internally and externally, including regularly analyzing and communicating and managing response to customer feedback, market trends, competitor performance, sales channels, and regulatory requirements
• Manager all aspects of product life cycle, including new product launch and execution of obsolescence to meet product strategy
• Partner with Sales and Marketing teams to develop effective positioning strategies, marketing campaigns, collateral, sales and support tools, and training programs to drive growth
• Partner with Quality Assurance and Operations on supply issues and own communications for commercial teams and customers when necessary

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Bachelor’s degree with 5 years experience in biological sciences (biology, chemistry, biochemistry)
• 3+ years of experience in Next Generation Sequencing product management or other relevant technical environment. Oncology product management highly preferred
• Demonstrated assay commercialization in genomics, next-generation sequencing, or a related industry inclusive of chemistry, software, and bioinformatics products
• 2+ years of experience in high-touchpoint customer facing roles
• Willingness and ability to travel approximately 20% domestically and internationally

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• PhD in biological sciences (biology, chemistry, biochemistry) or a related field
• Demonstrated understanding of competitors, technologies, trends, and key challenges in the NGS and oncology research market
• 5+ years in the biotechnology, genomics, next-generation sequencing (NGS) industry, or other relevant technical environment

The salary range OR the hourly range for this role is $150,000-170,000 . This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
