CrowdStrike Holdings, Inc. is seeking a hands-on AWS threat hunter to identify and counter cloud‑based adversaries. You will review cloud configurations, write queries and scripts, and deliver clear findings to executive stakeholders on complex global projects.
The role emphasizes collaboration with security teams, robust reporting, and the ability to work across diverse environments while advancing CrowdStrike's advanced, AI‑native Falcon platform.
As a global leader in cybersecurity, CrowdStrike protects the people, processes and technologies that drive modern organizations. Since 2011, our mission hasn’t changed — we’re here to stop breaches, and we’ve redefined modern security with the world’s most advanced AI-native platform. We work on large scale distributed systems, processing almost 3 trillion events per day and this traffic is growing daily. Our customers span all industries, and they count on CrowdStrike to keep their businesses running, their communities safe and their lives moving forward. We're proud to work for a mission-driven company leveraging AI to transform the way we work. CrowdStrikers drive their careers through flexibility and autonomy while also being expected to contribute to a culture of responsible AI adoption, experimentation, and innovation. We use an AI-first mindset as a force multiplier to proactively and continuously accelerate execution, build expertise, uncover insights, and solve complex problems. We’re always looking to add talented CrowdStrikers to the team who have limitless passion, a relentless focus on innovation and a fanatical commitment to our customers, our community and each other. Ready to join a mission that matters? The future of cybersecurity starts with you.
About the Role: CrowdStrike is looking for a hands‑on AWS threat hunter with strong technical and analytical skills, genuine curiosity about cloud attack techniques, experience hunting for evidence of adversarial activity, and the ability to develop defensive capabilities to counter them. The ideal candidate will have 3‑5 years of hands‑on threat hunting experience in cloud environments, preferably AWS. You will work with complex, high‑profile organizations across the globe, conducting threat hunting in cloud environments to identify active and historical threats, reviewing cloud control plane configurations, and providing technical recommendations to reduce adversary opportunity in target environments.
A strong ability to verbally communicate technical concepts and findings in plain English to technical and non‑technical audiences, including CISO‑level stakeholders. Excellent technical writing skills and ability to produce high‑quality written reports and presentations for internal stakeholders and CrowdStrike clients. Attention to details, time management, delegation. This is a consulting role and excellent organizational skills are non‑negotiable. We care about what you know and what you can do, not the specific path you took to get here. Strong candidates will have built real depth in cloud platforms and security over time – whether through years in dedicated security roles, a background in cloud engineering or DevOps that shifted toward threat hunting, or any other route that got them to the same place. What matters is that the knowledge is solid and the skills are demonstrable.

CrowdStrike was founded in 2011 to fix a fundamental problem: The sophisticated attacks that were forcing the world’s leading businesses into the headlines could not be solved with existing malware‑based defenses. Founder George Kurtz realized that a brand new approach was needed — one that combines the most advanced endpoint protection with expert intelligence to pinpoint the adversaries perpetrating the attacks, not just the malware. There’s much more to the story of how Falcon has redefined endpoint protection but there’s only one thing to remember about CrowdStrike: We stop breaches.
