$214,755.84/yr - $310,202.88/yr

We are seeking a Cloud Systems Architect with experience in cloud infrastructure to engineer and support public, private, and hybrid clouds. The ideal candidate will be proficient in cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure.

Skills and attributes for success:

• The candidate should be knowledgeable about recent developments and advise customers on cloud management strategies to leverage benefits like workload flexibility, scalable workstations, and pay-as-you-go models.
• Work with the IT Security team to manage and maintain cloud system security for data and network resources.
• Engineer on-premise applications and systems interconnected with cloud resources.
• Design and define system architecture for complex systems.
• Determine system specifications, input/output processes, and ensure hardware/software compatibility and security.
• Coordinate subsystem design and system integration, analyze and resolve program support issues.
• Develop and recommend corrective actions.
• Provide technical guidance to database administrators and software developers if needed.

Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud computing technologies and migration of applications to the cloud.
• Ability to build relationships with clients and team members.
• Knowledge of integrating services and tools across networks and data processing.
• Implement security information and event management to safeguard assets.
• Experience meeting or exceeding cloud provider SLAs, especially with AWS and Azure.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, PHP, Java, Node.js, and Ruby on Rails.
• Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of relevant work experience or equivalent.
