Base pay range

$214,755.84/yr - $310,202.88/yr

We are seeking a Cloud Systems Architect with experience in cloud infrastructure to engineer and support public, private, and hybrid clouds. The ideal candidate will be proficient in cloud platforms including Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure.

Skills and attributes for success:
  • Knowledge of recent updates and developments in cloud management strategies; act as an advisor to our customer on cloud benefits such as workload flexibility, workstation scalability, and pay-as-you-go models.
  • Work with the IT Security team to manage and maintain cloud data and network security.
  • Engineer applications and systems on customer premises interconnected with cloud resources.
  • Design and define system architecture for new or existing complex computer systems.
  • Determine system specifications, input/output processes, hardware/software compatibility, and security maintenance.
  • Coordinate subsystem design and system integration; identify, analyze, and resolve program support deficiencies.
  • Develop and recommend corrective actions.
  • Provide technical guidance for database administrators and software developers as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Experience with cloud computing technologies and migration of applications to the cloud.
  • Ability to build relationships with customers and team members.
  • Knowledge of integrating services and tools across networks and data processing.
  • Implement security information and event management to safeguard assets.
  • Experience meeting or exceeding cloud provider SLAs; familiarity with AWS and Azure.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, PHP, Java, Node.js, and Ruby on Rails.
  • Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of relevant experience or equivalent.
