**Job Description**
Accenture Federal Services (AFS) is seeking a Sr. Cloud Software Developer (Multi-Cloud) with deep expertise in Microsoft Azure and experience across other cloud providers (e.g., AWS, GCP, etc.) to support mission-critical systems. As a Senior Software Developer with a focus on Multi-Cloud environments, you will be at the forefront of developing and managing complex cloud-based solutions. Your role will be pivotal in containerizing applications, automating processes, and scripting Infrastructure as Code (IaC). You will be tasked with the configuration and integration of various services and ensuring the monitoring and stability of the management infrastructure. Your expertise will be crucial in developing hardened machine images, such as Azure VMs, while also ensuring that these images comply with Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs). Additionally, you will create custom services that enhance security inheritance, playing a key role in maintaining a secure and efficient cloud ecosystem.
**Responsibilities**
+ Develop and maintain hardened machine images (e.g., Azure VM).
+ Automate cloud infrastructure deployment using IaC tools (e.g., Terraform, Bicep, CloudFormation, etc.).
+ Monitor and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure performance, ensuring high availability and resilience.
+ Enforce security policies and Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) compliance across multi-cloud environments to maintain accreditation standards.
+ Integrate and manage cloud services to ensure interoperability, data flow, and optimal performance.
**Here’s what you need:**
+ 7 years of software development experience building software solutions using Azure in a secure environment.
+ 2 years of experience with Platform as a Service (PaaS) technology (e.g., Kubernetes, OpenShift, etc.).
+ 1 year of experience deploying and working with Azure Landing Zones, implementing and developing Azure policies, command-line interfaces, and network technologies including DNS, load balancing, and TLS.
+ Experience with provisioning, installing, configuring, operating, and maintaining software and infrastructure-as-code in a DevSecOps and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/DI) environment using automation and tools (e.g., Terraform, Bicep, CloudFormation, etc.).
+ Bachelor's degree in Information Technology related area of study or 6 years of experience working with IT systems may substitute academic degree
**Bonus points if you have:**
+ Experience with other cloud providers (e.g., AWS, GCP, etc.)
+ Understanding of cybersecurity best practices in a cloud-based environment required to obtain and maintain an Authorization to Operate (ATO).
+ Compliance with DoDD 8570.01-M IA certifications; IAT Level II baseline and computing environment certifications such as Security + and Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals or the ability
+ Advanced cloud certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, etc.).
**Security Clearance:**
+ Active TS w/ SCI eligibility US Government security clearance is required
As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of **California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, and the District of Columbia** . The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience. $113,500—$234,900 USD
