Job Description

The Systems Engineer Senior IT is responsible for constructing detailed design based on architectural guidance. This position serves as a subject matter expert and performs activities required for supporting secured IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Implement changes into production environment following change control methodology
• Conduct technical design and reviews based on architectural guidance
• Responsible for project execution, solutions, and building
• Serve as a subject matter expert on specific technology domains
• Act as a problem-solving partner and cross-train others
• Proactively manage availability and scalability
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related area, or equivalent experience; High School Diploma or GED required
• Experience with relevant infrastructure technologies
• 5 years of experience with infrastructure technologies
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

Additional Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills (written, technical, verbal)
• Ability to work effectively independently and in cross-functional teams
• Willingness to receive work direction from leadership
• Ability to translate abstract concepts into technical deployment designs
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Experience with AWS and GCP, Terraform, and design/implementation/support

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with regulatory compliance (HIPAA, PCI, etc.)
• Prior experience in PBM / healthcare industry
• Understanding security implications of domain
• ITIL Foundations Certification

Physical Job Requirements

• Ability to travel up to 10%
• Flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and shifts outside core hours

Reporting Structure

• Reports to a Manager in the IT department

Potential pay ranges from $94,000 to $160,000 based on experience and skills.
